Meet Your Teacher – Ashley Marley

I didn’t come to yoga to slow down.

I came to it to stay strong.

I’m Ashley — founder of Strong AF Yoga — and for over 20 years I’ve been blending yoga, strength training and real-world movement into a practice that actually supports the lives women are living now.

I started my teaching journey in California, training in the Travis Eliot & Lauren Eckstrom / Bryan Kest lineage and teaching in some of LA’s most high-energy studios. Along the way I also became a competitive Olympic weightlifter, podiuming at The British Masters level, qualifying for Europeans — because I believe power belongs to women at every age.

Now based in the Scottish Borders, my work has evolved. I’m not interested in perfection or pretzel shapes. I’m here to help women in their 30s, 40s and 50s:

• feel strong again

• move without fear

• rebuild trust in their bodies

• train hard and recover well

Strong AF Yoga is where athletic women come when they love lifting, running, CrossFit, Hyrox or just feeling capable — but know they need smarter mobility, stability and strength to keep doing what they love for years to come.

Classes are:

• small and personal

• welcoming to all levels

• grounded, no-ego, no pressure

• focused on strength, resilience and longevity

You don’t need to be flexible.

You don’t need to be fit.

You just need to be willing to begin again.
